Dr Katy Mair is Head of Early Modern Records at The National Archives, where she manages cataloguing, engagement and research activities based on the extensive early-modern material held at Kew. Her research interests include women’s writing, early-modern archives, and Shakespeare, and she has had several articles on these topics published. Katy has collaborated with the University of Glasgow on the Bess of Hardwick project exhibition, and with King’s College London on the By Me William Shakespeare exhibition. Her work with the Aphra Behn project team provides a further opportunity to develop public understanding of archives and early-modern culture.
